  20. Actually, interlaced resolutions are never flicker-free, unless the refresh
  21. rate for one *complete* frame is more than say 50 Hz (then you simply won't
  22. notice that its interlaced :-)).

  24. There are special modes on the A1200 though which are called 'no flicker' (or
  25. something like that).  You will however need a monitor which can handle these
  26. modes (a standard VGA monitor should do the trick)

  32. Isn't Super-hires laced an ECS mode as well?  I don't recall that the A1200 can
  33. display that one non-laced :-)
